Santiam Water Control District, the Natural Resources Conservation Service in Oregon, and Farmers Conservation Alliance are developing a Watershed Plan – Environmental Assessment to help the District improve water conveyance efficiency, reduce operations and maintenance costs, improve management of stormwater and drainage water, and increase drought resilience for a diverse array of stakeholders throughout Marion County. This project would complement prior and ongoing modernization projects in the District.
